Indiana Wine Trail Fall Haul Information
The Indiana Wine Trail in southeast Indiana is hosting their annual Fall Haul Event, November 5 & 6. During the Fall Haul, Indiana Wine Trail wineries serve up wine like they never have before. From wine sauces to wine tapas to wine cake, now no worries about wine pairings for the meal. Wine is the meal. The wineries will showcase a variety of foods created using wines. In addition to the food each of the six wineries will provide recipes for the food and special discounts. The wine and food tastings will be free, larger portions may be purchased. The Indiana Wine Trail consists of six wineries-Thomas Family Winery, Lanthier Winery, Madison Vineyards, Ertel Cellars, StreamCliff Farm Winery and The Ridge Winery- who have joined together to create a fun wine trail along and around the beautiful Ohio River Scenic Byway. Encompassing everything from secluded estate vineyards to historic pub-style bistros, the Indiana Wine Trail brings together the region’s best, each offering a different take on one of the state’s fastest-growing agricultural products: handcrafted Indiana wine. Fall Haul, a weekend of fun food samplings, specials and recipes from the Indiana Wine Trail. You’ll enjoy beautiful fall scenery as you travel to each of the six artisan wineries to sample wine in both its liquid and solid forms. Wow your holiday guests with novel foods and wines you find along the trail.
