Waikato Farm Day Information

On the outskirts of Cambridge lies Bill and Sue Garlands hill country farm.  During the year they’re kept busy with 2200 breeding ewes and hoggets plus 500 cattle. When lambing rolls round, they usually have about 3000 thousand lambs to tail!  During summer 400 bales of silage are cut in preparation for winter.   The Garlands are also interested in conservation and have some land set aside to restore and protect native bush.
