The Otley Show Information
OTLEY SHOW was first held in 1796, over 200 years ago and now spans 4 centuries. Cancellations have been few and far between, twice in the 1800's, throughout the war years, more recently in 1983 due to flooding and in 2001 due to the Foot and Mouth epidemic. The farmers around Otley in the late 1700's were keen to apply developments in agriculture taking place elsewhere in the U.K.
